OPI - Sonic Bloom, Megawatt & Electric Eel

These are three polishes that can be lovely 1 coat sheers but here is 3 coats of each to give you an idea what they can build up to. No base or top on any of these.

Megawatt

I really liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. At one coat it is like a layer of spun gold on the nail. It is very sheer but it is prominent. This is 3 coats and I really love the ethereal glow. Definitely a keeper.

Electric Eel

I think I might like this one better at a single coat than three. While it is a very pretty green at 3 coats, at 1 coat it gives off a very subtle (for me) green glow. I did not do 1 coat swatches with these because my nails are stained all to shiz. No one wants to see that :|

Sonic Bloom

This one is fabulous. One coat is less than thrilling. Three coats, however, is beauty. Is it blue? Pink? Green? Guile? All of the above?

OPI - Electric Eel (Addendum)

So I picked off the sticker that the lady at the mall stuck on my finger (loved it, bought 3 packs) and replaced it with this.

Random Icing Minty green + OPI Electric Eel + China Glaze Whitecap + Slice of lime + SV

It totally reminds me of a margarita *drools*

I added 1 coat of China Glaze He's Going In Circles

Psst.. Next week is holo week. I'm swatching the 5 kaleidoscopes I have.. I think it's 5? The entire OMG collection and Color Club Worth the Risque and Revvvolution. I will also have a comparison of different top coats on Nfu-Oh 61. There has been buzz about topcoats dulling holos for a while now. You can now see for yourself which do and which don't! I do not have EVERY topcoat in existence but I have swatched the 4 I do have.

Cross fingers that the sun plays nice because I haven't swatched the entirety of these yet, and I don't want to make myself a liar ;o)

OPI - Electric Eel

My moms best friend gave me a bag of like 40 random polishes the other day, and one of them was OPI Electric Eel. I know it is gorgeous over black but I wanted to see it over top of a similar green. I chose this random Icing with no name.

This is taken outside in semi cloudy weather at like 9 p.m. 3 coats random Icing and 1 coat Electric Eel + SV.

It's hard to capture the shimmer flash from gold to green. Here it is indoors by the stove light. Why yes I was just basting a roast child why do you ask? *picks gumdrops off the door*

I love that old formula smell! *huffs*
