ManGlaze - Matte is Murder & GOSH Galaxy

I got my very first ManGlaze polishes the other day.  Colour me stoked.  I'm going to post one every Monday (Sunday night) for the next month or so (I bought 5).  I need more.  MOAR.

Someone on MUA the other day referred to this as "very pretty pavement" or something to that effect.  It totally does remind me of a freshly paved road.

The formula was ridiculously awesome.  It dries really quickly, but not so quickly that you can't work with it like some mattes.  I am on a real matte kick lately.  I love me some fast dry time. I almost always cover them in something else, but seriously MiM is so secks!  I would have no issues waiting a full day before covering it in glitter ;)  In this case, I waited about 5 minutes, but that is because I was swatching.

GOSH Galaxy.  Limited edition.  I swear there is duochrome action but it is super subtle.  In the stove light I could see a definite shift in about 50% of the glitter from green to pink.  Super mega subtle though.  Impossible to capture in sunny weather.  I shall have to bust her out on a shit day sometime soon.  Super soon considering it is fall in Vancouver.

It's like a million tiny particles of every colour.  It looks holo almost in full sun, but it totally isn't.  Speaking of holo.  Has anyone in Canada seen the holo released with this collection?  Are we going to get holo sheisted again? *shakes fist*

Nail Pattern Boldness vs. Clarins 230

This polish does not have a name.  I won this in a giveaway on the Nail Pattern Boldness blog

Pinky and middle = Clarins 230 2 coats
Ring and pointer = 1 coat NPB unnamed franken
Both are over GOSH Oh My Gosh Cobalt Blue (fabulous btw)

Summary = closest dupe I have yet found to Clarins 230 aside from the Pied Polish Piper's Bliss Piss which I comped here.

I want to add that there are tiny little bits in the NPB that are visible in low light and shade.  You can see them in my shade picture.  Does not take away from the gorgeousness that is this polish in ze sunshine!  Also, doesn't really take away from the gorgeousness in the shade ;)

Cross fingers she adds this to her line!  It is not for sale right now :(

Nail Pattern Boldness - Ninja vs. Pirate

I love this shiz.  Fabulous white and black shards in a clear base.  Not too thick.  Not all stabby like a lot of those shardy glitters can be.  Sliced nice and thin so they lay flat and not in stab/lump format.

This is 1 coat applied traditionally over OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  It was not the best colour combination.  I thought it would be more grey.  No topcoat.

Here are 3 of essentially the same shot.  This time I dabbed the polish on so I had more control of where the bitlets went.  The green is GOSH Oh My Gosh Apple green. No topcoat.

I love the way white and black glitter pop against most cremes.  This polish is an amazing alternative to Connect The Dots and the many available dupes which are kind of getting old at this point.  Not that I do not love CTD.  Loathe Lynn, but still lurve CTD.  Anyway!  You can buy Nail Pattern Boldness polishes here on her etsy site.  They are cheaper than most indies, but the quality is amazing.  The labels are not made of plain paper which makes them resilient, and I love the addition of the polish name on the bottom of the bottles.  I will have a few more to review this week!  Allison ships quickly, and is the epitome of good customer service.  You buy now!
