Hola! Yesterday I received the OPI Nice Stems collection and today I swatched it! I am not normally a fan of pinks but I do enjoy this collection.. minus 1 of them *evil glare* Do not mind my nubbly nubs. I nubbed them down to the quick so the shape is.. well there is no shape really I just nubbed them as far as they would nub. Nub?
Here is Come To Poppy. 3 coats with no top coat. I love this polish. Application was a breeze, polish is gorgeous, all is good!
Sorry this is blurry but I only took the one picture and I don't like deviating from patterns.. Bottom, bottle, nails!
Here is Come To Poppy with 1 coat of I Lily Love You (I lily do!! <3)
I Lily Love You is frigging gorgeous. It is irregular + small square bits of flakey in a sheer pink base. At first I was worried that it would be very similar in application to Color Club Covered In Diamonds (which I love but is a PITA to apply) but it is not. The application is easy peasy and the glitter is not chunky or obtrusive. It goes on smooth.
This is Be A Dahlia Won't You. Supposedly a dupe for China Glaze 108 Degrees, but I do not have that for comps. Application = fabulous! I love this polish.
It does have a bit of a blue shimmer but I decided it needed more. Here it is with 1 coat of CND Sapphire Sparkle.
And now on to the thorn in my side. Get it? Themed floral collection? Thorn? RDRR? Anyways.. Play In The Peonies looks nice enough once you struggle with the SHIZ application. I hated it. It was streaky and pully and too thin but too thick? Is that possible? I have dubbed it, Pain In The Peonies. This is 3 coats with no topcoat.
It is a barely pink frosty white by my eye. I do like it on the nail, but I decided I needed to punish it with some Crackle Shatter. Really La Rosa? Crackle Shatter? *shakes head* Anyways. This is PITP with 1 coat of La Rosa Crackle Shatter #18 Diva. I put this on when it was still wettish, and I do like the way it cracked!
Do you see the glitter hiding in there?
I don't even know how to classify this. I think it was their answer to the metallics being put out. It's like a coppery.. reddy.. bronzy situation? With glitter? I do love it regardless!
That was 1 coat of Diva with a coat of topcoat.. I don't remember which one.. it was kinda bluish and Orly.. top/bottom type dealy? Anyhoo, thx for looking!
LOL - Pain in the Peonies :D HA HA HA. I love the pink and the shatter looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the crackle!

ReplyDeleteWow I really like the way the La Rosa cracks! It's much better than stringy crack. =P
