OMG let's DV8 2Nite!

You cannot imagine how happy I was when I finally got the last bottle in this puzzle.

I am going to say this once because it applies to every single one of them, and I don't much care for redundancy. The formula on these polishes can be difficult to work with. They don't like the second coat. They don't like every base coat. They are really pully. By pully I mean that they like to leave little bald spots near the cuticle usually.

I found that what worked best for me was CND Sticky as a base. Even then the 2nd coat did not want to play nice every time. There is little room for error. You need to go fast and accurately without too much or too little on the brush at the perfect angle (which is a bit more parallel to the nail as opposed to angled against it ykwim?) I imagine that a sandwich of Sticky + OMG + Sticky + OMG would be the ideal situation but I did not do that with any of these so not necessary if you work it! One of these days I need to get an aqua base ;o)

Oh AND these puppies show ridges like MAD! I swatched one of them first and then started using Barielle Hydrating Ridge Filler underneath the rest of them. Didn't make a whole whack of difference, but I tried! So mind my ridges ;o)

I love this collection. It and the Kaleidoscope collection are probably my top 2 favourite collections. I still need more than half of the Kaleidoscopes but I am on it! *plots*

Here is DV8 *rawr*

There isn't too much I can say about this polish that it doesn't say for itself! *swoon*

This is 2nite

Aaand I thought I took more pics of this one! Shameful it's one of my favourites. Here is what it looks like.. in the shade!

And now in the sun ;o) Much better!
