ManGlaze - Royal Matterimoaning and Nail Pattern Boldness - Cosmic Debris

Ah the days of weeks ago when I swatched these and there was sun.  Now Raincouver is back in full swing.  I cannot expect to have the planets align in such a way that there will be sun and I will not be at work AND I will have time to swatch.  So my coming swatches will likely be in the several different strange lightings throughout my house and overcast outdoor lighting.

Here is ManGlaze Royal Matterimoaning 2 coats

Now because I purchased these mostly for layering, here it is with 1 coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Cosmic Debris.

ManGlaze can be purchased @: Their site or Amazon or Facebook

Pretty Serious Monster Mash & Emma Louise (I am dreadfully late on this)

This better not sell out before I get paid again.  I put the Visa in a safe place and am working on being a RESPONSIBLE ADULT with my money.  *grumble grumble*

As if the news of our Monster Mash collection wasn't excellent enough, Pretty Serious Cosmetics has one more trick up our heart covered cardigan sleeve! Introducing EMMA LOUISE, our very first Limited Edition shade!

EMMA LOUISE is pure magic in a bottle. This rich purple jelly with green-gold duochrome glass fleck, purple microglitter and large green & purple hex glitter was designed by Pretty Serious friend Emma Durney in honour of a very special birthday. She chose to donate half the proceeds from all sales of this spectacular shade to the Cancer Council of NSW. Each bottle and box will be individually numbered with only 300 being produced. Once they're gone, they're gone so don't miss out.

EMMA LOUISE will be available for purchase for $9.95 for a 11ml/0.37 fl.oz bottle from 9am AEST, October 10th. Due to the limited nature of this shade, we are imposing a limit of 5 polishes per customer. We ship worldwide too!

Pretty Serious Cosmetics are Vegan and Cruelty Free. We also love Beagles.

Pretty Serious Cosmetics is proud to present our Halloween 2012 collection - MONSTER MASH!

That's right, we've gone batty here at the Pretty Serious labs and this year, we're trying our hand at MAD SCIENCE! We've taken some ghastly little Halloween monsters and thrown them in a blender, finishing them off with some hair of the spider* and a little eye of newt!**

We've got six amazing new shades to help you get your scare on this Halloween!

CREATURE CRUSH - a haunting mix of black and silver glitter in an inky blue-green jelly base with large black and silver holographic hex glitter
GARGOYLE GANACHE - a multichrome shimmer with flashes of green, gold and purple through a stony gunmetal base.
LIQUID LEPRECHAUN - Multi sized golden and green glitter particles floating in a radioactive green jelly base
MUMMY MUSH - a gorgeous golden glass fleck mulltichrome, shifting through baby blue to pink
POLTERGEIST PUDDLE - an intense blurple shimmer with a pink flash and a slight golden duochrome
VISCOUS VAMPIRE - a red jelly base that's so bright you can almost call it fluorescent, with multi-sized red and fuschia glitter

If that wasn't amazing enough, our new Halloween shades will be packaged in sensational new holographic green boxes with new Halloween art by Leigh Young!

These fabulous freaks go on sale at 9am AEST, October 10th from http://www.pretty-serious.com. RRP is $9.95, with a 10% discount for buying all six shades! Pretty Serious Cosmetics also ships worldwide. Check out our site for more details.

Bottle volume is 11ml/0.37 fl.oz. Pretty Serious Cosmetics is 100% Vegan and Cruelty Free.

*Hair of the spider was graciously donated by Salon Arachnidé, the premier spider beauty destination.
**And of course we're talking about vegan eye of newt substitute - Pretty Serious is always totally Vegan and Cruelty Free!

SpaRitual - Bismuth

Here are 13 pictures of Bismuth.  I couldn't quite capture it.  4 coats on all but ring which is 2 coats over black.  I took pictures under several different light sources.  No topcoat.  I need to experiment with layering this puppy, perhaps over a brown.. *squint*  Sorry for the bubbles.  This is the only thing I swatched this long weekend, and I did it fast and sloppy.  It's super sheer like a lot of duochromes.

Indirect sun

Sun

Stove light

Bedroom light which is quite cool and blue

Bathroom light which is pretty neutral but a bit warm

At first look I thought this polish might be very similar to a lot of other duochromes out there, but it isn't.  It's more of a pink tone than the really common purple, and it shifts to a very warm sort of bronzy gold instead of the traditional green.  The base is sort of a murky browny grey.  I find this polish very hard to describe and found it very hard to photograph.  Hopefully these swatches aren't entirely useless to you! ManGlaze Mayonnaise and CrowsToes Bunny Slope

Mayonnaise.  This was the one I knew I absolutely had to have.  I have a pretty good white (NYC Casper thank you very much Kristy!) which is a 2 coater, but it takes a while to dry before you can layer on top of it.  This is 3 coats of Mayonnaise which dries very very quickly, but, again, not so quickly that you cannot manipulate it before it starts to seize up.  It's not whiteout white.  It has a touch of creaminess to it.

The bottle art is wicked.

I added 1 coat of CrowsToes Bunny Slope

I put the Visa away.  He and I needed to take a break from each other.  I now need to save up for things like a responsible adult.  I have many more ManGlaze to get.  I bought 5 when they had their last sale.  Next sale, I am buying the rest.. or most of the rest.  No, probably buying the rest.  Santorum haunts me.  I was like, I never wear brown.  I don't need a brown.  BAM, autumn.. needing all the brown.  Do want for layering.  Am frustrated with myself for my moment of Santorum related restraint.
