I got this amazing little darling from an amazing little darling I know down in Oz. A dear friend of mine who runs a little blog called Shatter Me Claire.

Here are 2 coats over top of 1 coat of W&W Black Creme.

The bottle is pretty small but there are a LOT of flakies packed in there. I need ALL of the other ones now. Amazing.

Here are a couple taken indoors (I apologize for the blur in the second pic.. and now I feel like listening to some Blur)

It predominantly flashes from green to gold/orange but as you can see it totally does flash teal/blue. I got several compliments on this one. One of my friends even said it was the best mani she had ever seen on me!

China Glaze - Something Sweet

I have seen at least one person complain about the formula on this one. I do not have high expectations for pastels. This is 3 coats with SV. I did not find it streaky or difficult.

And because I cannot leave well enough alone. I added a coat of China Glaze Broken Hearted on one finger, OPI Teenage Dream on the other and a piece of fimo strawberry because Something Sweet reminds me of strawberry milk.. mmm strawberry milk.

jaybird frankens! Fruit Martyr +1

Allo allo. Good morning all. I have a couple of fabulous frankens from the fabulous jaybirdiscrafty of mua fame aka jaybird of www.polishedpirate.blogspot.com.

This is Fruit Martyr. A buttery yellow with rainbow micro glitter. I find the green glitter stands out the most in all light, but if you tilt it around you get a burst of rainbowy goodness!

Please excuse my weirdly shiny pinky.. It was a bit dry so I added some solar oil.

This franken does not have a name! I am tentatively calling it Cry Me a River.

Too many pictures of Joe Fresh Oyster

Joe Fresh is a Canadian brand that sells lots of stuff. They sell clothes, shoes, cosmetics etc. What I really care about is their nail polish (although their creme blush isn't too shabby). They can be found at Superstore or any of the Loblaws brand stores (afaik). They retail for $4 each or 3/$10.

Here is Oyster (3 coats no topcoat)

This one is hard to capture. It is a silver base with a pink/green duochrome like the inside of an oyster mebbe? It is quite sheer but as you can see it builds up nicely. I quick and dirtied it over a black and it layers well. The duochrome is much more obvious over a darker colour. I like it this way too though :o)

The duochrome is easier to capture in the bottle.

I love the brush which I forgot to take a picture of. It's not too big and not too skinny. The bottle is a bit frustrating though as at $4 per bottle it should hold more than 6 ml imho.

Perfect stalker polish = Essence You Belong To Me

What a freaky name right? YOU BELONG TO ME. It's very pretty though. This is the first time that I have used an Essence polish. The bottle is small but I do like the brush! The formula is good. This is 2 coats.

(I think there is something in my SV...)

China Glaze - Rainstorm

This polish is so super pretty in the bottle.

Unfortunately it is RIDICULOUSLY thin. I need to layer it, and now I really really need lapis of luxury or secret periwinkle because I don't want to put this puppy away and never wear it again. It is really quite pretty. A periwinkle blue (correct me if I am wrong) with glitter!

Here is 4 coats with no topcoat. It needs underwear and a topcoat couldn't hurt. I apologize for my cuticles. Note to the followers.. Swimsuit... Nailed It! Stains. Use a basecoat. I didn't because I was just doing a fast swatch and it stained (not much but still) like immediately. Suppose I should have mentioned that yesterday...

Also.. did you ever wonder what OPI - Paris Couture For Sure would look like over top of Essie Like Me/Geranium? Or any bright orange leaning red for that matter?

OPI Miss Universe 2011 - Swimsuit... Nailed it!

I was in the nail supply this weekend just looking around. I wasn't expecting to love this one. I picked it up 3 times before I decided I had to have it. It is gorgeous.

This is such a wicked crazy blue foil. LOVE!

And because I cannot take anything off without layering something else over it first, here it is with one coat of OPI - I Lily Love You

Now please band together and hope for sunshine for me today ok?
